Overview
A clean, well-reviewed mental-math speed-drill app — addition through fractions, percentages, and squares — from an independent developer. 4.7 stars across ~1,000 ratings. Math-fact fluency is the foundation algebra sits on; this is the reps.
Strengths
- •Well-designed timed drills across the full mental-math range
- •Strong reviews (4.7/5, ~1,000 ratings) and a responsive solo developer
- •Free tier is genuinely usable
Limitations
- •A supplement for fluency, not a curriculum — no instruction, just reps
- •You may have seen this credited to Alpha School. It isn't theirs — Alpha built its own internal tool with the same name. We list this app on its own merits
Best fit for
- •Kids who know the procedures but are slow on facts
- •Daily 5-minute fluency warm-ups at home or in a pod
- •Adults who want their mental math back
The honest read
You may have seen this credited to Alpha School — it isn't theirs; Alpha built its own tool with the same name. This indie app stands on its own: clean, well-reviewed mental-math reps. A supplement for fluency, not a curriculum.
