Charlotte Mason families wanting faithful CM implementation with beautiful materials and generous scheduling flexibility
$180-240/year
Overview
A Gentle Feast is one of the most faithful Charlotte Mason implementations in print, built around 'Morning Time': a 30-45 minute shared learning block combining scripture, poetry, hymn study, nature observation, and read-alouds. The grid-style Teacher Manual gives experienced CM families freedom to select (the 'feast' is what you set on the table) while still scaffolding newcomers. Materials are visually beautiful in a CM tradition where presentation matters. Math is not included; CM families typically pair it with Singapore Math or Math-U-See.

The honest read
Parents uniformly praise the Morning Time component. Kids retain scripture and poetry months later. The grid format gives experienced CM families freedom to select, but newcomers to CM report needing time to understand the philosophy before the curriculum clicks.
